How Do Costumes and Characters Work? To make the murder mystery game really to organise your guests don't need to dress as any particular character. Their costume doesn't affect the character they play in the murder mystery game. You allocate characters on the night of the murder mystery party. This way if guests are sick and can't make it or short notice friends want to come, there is no impact on how you run the game.

Normal Use: Fundraiser, kids 15+, teenage or adult party.

Group Size: 4 to 8, 2 to 15, 2 to 60, 60 to 120, 120 to 300.

Money, scams and revenge. Could you be a mafia boss and survive?

Roaring 20s 1920s Costume Ideas

If you have watched The Great Gatsby then that scene would take you back to the 20s. The roaring 1920s it’s always a mix of elegance, class and glamour. From fur coats, wool sweaters, felt hats and bonnets down to glittery dresses and shawls and fancy fur glittery fans for accessories.

Men’s Vintage Workwear

Unlike the clothes most men wear to work nowadays, the 1920s workwear is quite different. To pull this off you would need striped overalls, Wool Flannel shirt, denim jacket, cap, gloves and sturdy work boots.

Party Clothes

When talking about the 1920s party, elegance and class must always be observed. Just imagine dressing up like a movie star. You could pull this off by wearing rich jewel tone and soft pastel sleeveless, shapeless ankle to knee length gowns accented with beads or sequins, some fringe and some feathers. Add some accessories such as diamond tiara or headband, silk shawl, feathered fans, long pearl necklace and golden arm bangles.

Flapper Fashion

The iconic trend in the 20s is the flapper fashion. For your authentic flapper costume, you can recreate this look by choosing a short dress made of light material like chiffon, silk, satin or crepe. A loose fitting slip-overs with shorts and accent it with a belt in your lower waist line for that drop waist vibes that the 20s are giving off. Elaborate beading and sparkling accessories or a feathered accessory. As for the shoes flappers usually use the T-Strap shoes or a plain set of black heeled pumps. Stockings is also a must for this era. As for your hair you can wear wigs with bob cuts or short hair style.

Gatsby Fashion

If you’ve ever watch Leonardo DiCaprio as he portrays the role of the rich and famous Gatsby and want to imitate that look, here is what you need for that sophisticated socialite 1920s style: A well-fitting suit with a jacket that have 4-6 buttons for that buttoned up 1920 vibes. A vest that would match your trousers. A French cuff shirt with cuff links. As for the shoes men usually use oxfords with round or wide tips. Fedoras, bowlers and even newsboy hats will work well for a Gatsby look.
